T&T International Shoe Size Guide

A question I am often asked is, “what is my shoe size equivalent in European sizing?” Most designer shoes are in international sizing, so it is important to know your size, especially if you’re going to shop online consignment. It really is much less confusing than you think: basically take the first digit off…i.e. 37.5 equals 7.5. For any thing size 40+, just replace the 4 with a 1; for example size 40.5 equals 10.5

I am an 8 (sometimes 7.5) in U.S. brands, and I wear a 38 ninety percent of the time. For sandals and high heels I size down to 37.5 . For more shopping and consignment tips & tricks, be sure to subscribe to the Thrift & Tell Newsletter and follow @thriftandtell on Instagram.
