This week’s guest on THE TELL// is Dorothy Shain: contemporary artist & creative entrepreneur. Dorothy’s beautiful, vibrant art is influenced by her travels and experiences. Whether it is her bikini series, soul sneakers, or abstract pieces, her work has caught the eye of so many of us, including the one and only Mindy Khaling! While you may not find Dorothy all dolled up in the studio, she loves to invest in quality pieces, especially for important meetings where she will be representing her brand and promoting her work. Dorothy, like a true T&T lady, dutifully waits for her favorite pieces to go on sale or finds them via her favorite consignment resale site. //Staple Outfit: When I am not living in workout clothes ( which my job basically requires), I feel like my go to outfit is an awesome pair of jeans, a great sweater, big earrings and cool pair of mules. I currently loving all shoes from Thelma.

Dorothy Shain is a contemporary artist & creative entrepreneur based in Greenville, South Carolina. Her work has been featured in Southern Living, Garden & Gun, Architectural Digest. Dorothy is fueled by traveling to new places, meeting new people and getting outside. The three of these things constantly remind her of her place in this world and her connection to it. Her art is heavily influenced by the experiences she picks up along the way.
